where to buy in Buenos Aires

  • I would look around the edges of the business district towards the south of the city, Monserrat and San Telmo and parts of Congreso.

Watch out for high service charges as these can make a building more expensive and less saleable to locals.

Best streets are Defensa, Balcarce, Chile, Peru (all at number 100 - 1200 although with Defensa up to 1650 is nice as you have Parque Lezama at that end) - these are in San Telmo.

In Monserrat and Congreso you will find unbelievable architecture especially on Bartolome Mitre, Rivadia and Avenida de Mayo.

    Happy Hunting!
