    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    TECHNICAL:

    1. To supervise & depute the production staff & services department staff according to priority of jobs to be attended to achieve production targets.
    2. Work in close liaison with Maintenance Engineers to resolve plant problems, condition monitoring using SRCM technologies to improve plant availability and reliability.

    1. To provide expertise on environmental matters including discharges, wastes, emissions, energy and resource use, incident reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Prepare all preliminary workings like, feasibilities, presentations, estimations, time span, schedules, projected P & L through Project Planning softwares.
    2. Prepare progress & cost reports to the high officials of the company on fortnightly basis.
    3. Maintain Photo Album of 3000 TPD Clinker Project.
    4. Planning & preparation of long & short term budgets.
    5. Supervision, planning, scheduling, budgeting, maintenance and monitoring progress of the project.
    6. Maintain and Update the History files of each Equipment.
    7. Working as Site Incharge for Installation of Refractory Bricks & Castables with job descriptions:

    • Prepare & provide required materials according to design to fulfill the jobs of Refractory Bricks Castables in Pre-Heater, KILN & Clinker Cooler.
    • Monitor daily work of refractory bricks/ castables & provide Technical Services to relevant contractor regarding installation of Pocking holes, Air cannons, and inspection doors according to process point.
    • To control all safety measures for storage & Installation of refractory materials.
    • To assist the Contractor in order to produce well results in refractory & coordinate with other deptt.
    • Write procedures, work over programs and completion reports of various jobs.
    • Stock reconciliation of various raw materials and maintain the same as per book record.

    Working in Production/ Process Department of Attock Cement Pakistan Limted (ISO 9001:2000 & 14001:2004 Certified). ACPL is one of the best cement producing company in Pakistan with brand name as “FALCON CEMENT”. This company is the subsidiary of the largest multinational “PHARAON COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT GROUP LIMITED” with Head Office in Saudi Arabia and owned by Arab National Dr. Gaith Pharoon.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    TECHNICAL:

    1. To supervise & depute the production staff & services department staff according to priority of jobs to be attended to achieve production targets.
    2. Work in close liaison with Maintenance Engineers to resolve plant problems, condition monitoring using SRCM technologies to improve plant availability and reliability.
    3. Experience of operating Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Compressors, Gas & Diesel Engines.
    4. Monitoring of utilities e.g. CO2 removal system, Furnace oil unloading system & P.C. oil firing nozzles.
    5. Operation of boiler firing system and monitoring of Furnace and Thermal oil supply lines.
    6. To monitor production targets with maximum plant efficiency and energy conservation.
    7. Experience of operating PLC based instrumentation & Controls.
    8. Monitoring raw mill, kiln, cement mills operation and following upon the problems related to them.
    9. Write work instructions & operating procedures in order to reducing downtime & manpower utilization.

    11. Monitor fuel and power consumption on daily basis and analyze these figures against planned targets.

    14. Issuance of tender inquiries for the identified jobs to the contractors and study the comparative statements received from different contractors.
    15. To plan and organize the production activity of raw mill, kiln, cement mills and packing plant with a view to optimize the cost of Production by running the plant on optimum level.
    16. To monitor budgeting and targeting of production levels on quarterly and monthly basis.
    17. To co-ordinate with Quality Control department for achieving the required quality limits in accordance with PSI, ASTM & BSS standards at each step of production.
    18. Logging of maintenance related works to utilize the planned / unplanned shut downs of plant.
    19. Conduct Kiln bricks lining job as well as masonry works at the pre-heater & cooler in plant shut downs.
    20. To maintain complete record of the refractory materials for preheater, kiln and cooler and evaluate the performance of the material supplied by various suppliers.
    21. To maintain ISO 9001:2000 & 14001:2004 related documentation for Department.
    22. To make AutoCAD Drawings and Multimedia computer presentations.

    ENVIRONMENTAL:
    1. To provide expertise on environmental matters including discharges, wastes, emissions, energy and resource use, incident reporting.
    2. To monitor, recommend and implement actions in relation to environmental trends, issues.
    3. To perform audits, risk assessments and gap analysis to identify areas of continual improvement in environmental performance as per guidelines and procedures.
    4. To coordinate environmental monitoring programs and Implement HSE policies.

    HEALTH & SAFETY:
    1. To organize HSE training programs and Emergency Drills.
    2. To provide oversight to support all site activities having effective work safety arrangements.
    3. To participate in HSE meetings.
    4. To lead/ participate in the investigations of incidents/ accidents, advice and assist line management in writing reports, analysis of root causes and emergency response procedures.


    3000 TPD CLINKER PROJECT: (Three year project, direct report to Project Director)

    Fabrication, Erection, Installation, Commissioning and startup of PLC based instrumentation and controls over 3000 TPD Clinker Project which includes Vertical Roller Mill 3700, Gas Engines and Diesel Engines, Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Compressors, CO2 removal system, Blending and Clinker Silos, Five Stage Pre Heater, Rotary Kiln, KILN ID fan, Inlet and Outlet seals, Hydraulic Pusher, Pendulum Clinker Cooler (IKN), Coal Dosing and Firing System (Schenk), Weigh Feeders, Load Cells (Schenk), Packing Plant (H&B).

    Responsibilities:

    1. Prepare all preliminary workings like, feasibilities, presentations, estimations, time span, schedules, projected P & L through Project Planning softwares.
    2. Prepare progress & cost reports to the high officials of the company on fortnightly basis.
    3. Maintain Photo Album of 3000 TPD Clinker Project.
    4. Planning & preparation of long & short term budgets.
    5. Supervision, planning, scheduling, budgeting, maintenance and monitoring progress of the project.
    6. Maintain and Update the History files of each Equipment.
    7. Working as Site Incharge for Installation of Refractory Bricks & Castables with job descriptions:

    • Prepare & provide required materials according to design to fulfill the jobs of Refractory Bricks Castables in Pre-Heater, KILN & Clinker Cooler.
    • Monitor daily work of refractory bricks/ castables & provide Technical Services to relevant contractor regarding installation of Pocking holes, Air cannons, and inspection doors according to process point.
    • To control all safety measures for storage & Installation of refractory materials.
    • To assist the Contractor in order to produce well results in refractory & coordinate with other deptt.
    • Write procedures, work over programs and completion reports of various jobs.
    • Stock reconciliation of various raw materials and maintain the same as per book record.


    PROCESS/ TRAINEE ENGINEER:

    • Four years worked as Process Engineer in “Zeal Pak Cement Factory Limited”.
    • Two (02) months worked as Trainee Engineer in “Clariant Pakistan Limited”.
