  • Hello,

My name is Emre Köksal Küçük. I am an English teacher in Aydın Technical Anatolian High school. We want to do a project about Global Warnig or Tourism. Do you want to join us.

Here are some information about us.

Aydın Anatolian Technical High School, which began education in 1924 with Computer, Electrics, and Electronics departments, increased its number of departments with the addition of the building department in 2008.

The school has been built by the help of Mithat Passa on a total area of 50,000 square meters and has a closed area of 10,000 square meters.

The School provides a 4-year education with one year for English preparatory classes in 11 classrooms, each with a 28-student capacity, 2 workshops and 5 laboratory, where the general education and vocational classes are taught. There is also a multipurpose hall, administrative offices, library, canteen, and a cafeteria etc. at the school.

Aydın Anatolian Technical High School has a garden area of 40.000 square meters. The garden has been decorated with various decorative plants, trees, and flowers. Our school was built on a hill so it has got great view.

    Our project:

We want to do a model house to show the world how we save water. As we all know Global warming is the increase in the average temrature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation. My city, Aydın is very hot city. And global warning threats us a lot. Especially water supplies... We want to do something to protect our city and our world. We believe that we must all do something for it.

We must use natural resources better. For instance rain. We can collect rain water for summer. We can use it at our gardens, in our toilets etc. To collect rain water, we can use our house. First of all we must redesign them. All houses have got big roofs. We can collect the rain water which rains on the roof in a big tank which we has located at he garden. Then we use it for any purpose. What do you think? Can we do it together for our world? Who knows, may be we will succeed to protect just a little bit water. We not only look the rain flowing from our roofs but also use it for our future.
