french wine

  • I've been many times to france and i love the french wines. In restaurants we always ordered several bottles (not only for me!)... I recently heard that the police is more strict on alcohol consumption, so also on wine... is it true that because of that the french drink less wine now?? or is it still that popular as it used to be??
is this also the reason that it goes very bad with the wine sales????

As long as you are not driving there is no problem at all. French love foreigners who are loving french wines. Simply because French love to hear that thier wine is the best.
If you are driving I would advise you not to drink. It's two glasses of any alcohol maximum. If you are found drunk while driving, then you will face a hard fine and you might see your driving licence suspended. If you visit some typical french regions you will fine people drinking wine during everymeal. The french wines are the most expensive on the market, this combined to the increase in police control lead to a slow of consumption. Another thing is that, it became illegal to advertise for alcohol during some years. That might have played too.
Don't worry the french are still loving their wines.

  • Drink all wine you want

    Hi,

You can drink ALL wine (or other alcool) you want if you are not driving.

But my opinion is : Alcool are just for celebrates or party. Occasionally !

I drink wine (white wine, my favorite) just in Before (before going nightclub) or in the garden (for barbecue lol), maybe 10 or 15 time by year maximum (like many french)

Alcool sux if its just for be drunk !
