  • Contract Change within 3 years

Hi, It depends if you are in a Free Zone or not: If you are employed in a normal Dubai Company and
    - you want to quit within the first year you can get a ban from the Imigration dept.
    - if you want to resign after the first year you need a non objection letter from your employer. Without that you need to exit the country but can return on a new entry permit. You would get a ban only on your current employers request.

You can resign anyways at any time if the employer does not stick to the labour law, e.g.dosn't pay or offends massively. In this case you need to raise a complaint in the labour ministry. There should be a specific hotline for that. If anyone knows it, please publish it here. (or the location where to go to).

Btw it is illegal from the company to request the payment of the visa fees!
